Chemicals and Materials Subteam

The Chemicals and Materials Subteam designs, tests, and optimizes chemical processes and material systems that run on the mechanical subteam's energy output. Their work bridges the gap between energy conversion to ecological application by developing high-efficiency solutions tailored for complex marine challenges.

Mechanical Subteam

The Mechanical Subteam engineers the physical architecture required to trap and convert marine wave energy. They are responsible for designing, fabricating, and optimizing mechanical systems to reliably harvest wavepower to drive the team’s downstream chemical and material processes.
